A tour to Idukki

  Last year we went on a trip to Idukki. A beautiful place in Kerala. Yes, the exact place where the dam was opened and Kerala was flooded due to non stop rain.
   The place as you can see is breathtaking. I don't know how long we stood there mesmerized by the beauty and greenery of the place.
    Words cannot describe the beauty and the emotions we go through at that place😍

But what turned out to be a beautiful day ended with our car breaking down. And because it was the festive season of Onam none of the workshops were open.

But even that didn't hamper our excitement because the greenery and lakes around us made our hearts content.

We returned in one of his friends car who was also with us. My hubby had to stay in Idukki till his car got fixed.

So the experience of nature had a good effect on our spirits.

In our present lives, our minds are exposed to a number of things. The constant changing technology, our own thoughts about our past and future, too much stimuli, too much responsibility, too much hurrying.    When I moved to a new school after coming back from Saudi, I had this new friend in class. She was so lively, jolly and always laughing, singing and cracking jokes. I used to think how happy she is. But all that changed when one day when I knew her veryclose. Her parents were divorced and she was suffering alot. I was shocked. How could she make us all smile when she is so sad. We tend to judge people by their outer appearance or outer behavior. When actually they are the complete opposite of it.
